Let's see how to install courtesy lighting on the handle and the glove compartment pocket of a Hyundai Tucson: start by removing the panel: take off the handle and the inner trim, unscrew the screws with a star screwdriver, then pry with plastic tools to detach the clips around the perimeter; lift the panel and remove it carefully.

Disconnect the cable connectors (audio speaker, handle, etc.) and completely remove the panel.

You can find the LEDs on Amazon with code B09SGKVJ69 for £14.79 for 2 pieces, with free delivery. Position the LEDs in the glove compartment and under the handle, and thread the cables through the panel, securing the LEDs with hot glue to prevent vibrations and detachments, then connect the wires to the door wiring.

Reassemble the panel: reinsert the clips and secure the panel to the door, then re-screw the screws and reposition the handle, ensuring everything is locked correctly. Turn on the courtesy lights to check the result (light in the pocket and on the handle).

The result is "fantastic, it looks like a nightclub".
