How to Remove the Fuel Pump from the Hyundai Elantra

How to remove the fuel pump from the Hyundai Elantra? First, disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat base of the car. Use a spanner to undo the bolts securing the metal cap (remove it from its housing), and cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Unscrew the fuel pump clamp, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation pipes. Extract the fuel pump assembly from its housing along with the attached parts. Finally, refit a new part.
