Fuel Pump Relay Location

Model: Hyundai Elantra J2, MK 2 - Years 1995-2000

If the engine does not start despite the starter motor turning regularly, it is likely that fuel is not reaching the engine due to a malfunction of the pump (which is submerged in the tank, under the rear seat) or the fuel system (fuse or relay). It is advisable to check if power is reaching the pump with a test light or voltmeter: if power is not reaching and the fuse is intact, then the fault is likely with the relay. This is located under the dashboard on the driver's side, at the bottom left, behind the wiring harness, and is characterised by a blue side.
