How to Remove the Side Engine Block of a Hyundai Elantra

In this video, learn how to remove the side cover of the engine on a Hyundai Elantra. Lift the car on a column lift and position it at a comfortable height. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the bolt of the sump and drain all the fluid into a container (refit the bolt). Remove the plastic undertray and unscrew the sump (take out all the bolts and remove the cover). Remove the tensioner roller from its seat, and the alternator from the top of the engine along with the associated wiring. Finally, unscrew all the bolts of the engine cover and remove it as shown in the video.
