Instructions for Alternator Replacement

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006
Part: Alternator

To remove the alternator, position the vehicle on suitable car ramps to access the underside of the chassis. You will also need to remove the radiator mounting brackets to move it and create more space, especially for extracting the alternator from its location. Once the brackets securing the radiator to the front grille are removed, disconnect the battery and take off the positive cable from the alternator. Then, slide off the auxiliary belt and unscrew the mounting bolts to complete the removal, trying to extract the alternator from below.
