Radiator Removal Instructions

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006

First, perform this maintenance with the engine cold to avoid unpleasant burns. Open the front bonnet and unscrew the fastening pins of the brackets that secure the radiator to the grille, then remove the brackets; disconnect the connectors of the electric fans and the hoses; open the filler cap and unscrew the drain plug for the coolant located at the bottom of the radiator, collecting the fluid in a suitable container. Once the radiator is free from the hoses and completely drained, unscrew the screws securing the electric fans to the radiator, remove them, and then extract the radiator from its location after freeing it from the side brackets.
