How to Partially Dismantle the Engine of a Hyundai Elantra

Lift the car on a column lift to your preferred height. Unscrew the oil sump plug and allow the oil to drain into a disposal container, then refit the plug. Remove all the side plastic covers with a battery drill, then unscrew the plastic cover of the oil sump and pry it off with a screwdriver. Unscrew the belt bolts, remove the plastic panel on the cylinder head, and pull out the dipstick. Disconnect all connectors from the hoses in the engine bay, unscrew all the cylinder head bolts, and remove it along with the gasket. Now remove the air filter kit to access the throttle body, as it cannot be removed without taking out the filter. Use pliers to disconnect the metal clamps from various hoses and the power connectors as shown in the video. Unscrew the lower fastening bolts of the engine exhaust and carefully pull it out of the bay. Another step is to remove the alternator with its cables, then take off the engine chain cover with all the relevant bolts, pull the chain out of its housing, and now unscrew the cylinder head with a battery drill. Be careful to extract all the bolts from their seats, the camshaft, and place everything in a container. For reassembly, start by lubricating the parts to be assembled and reassemble them in reverse order.
