Fuel Filter Replacement on Hyundai Elantra

Model: Hyundai Elantra MK 4, HD - Years 2006-2010

To remove the fuel filter on a Hyundai Elantra, take out the fuel filter along with the pump. Remove the rear seat cushions, then take off the metal cover on the top of the floor to access the fuel pump located in the tank (as shown in the video). Remove the fuel filter from inside the pump by disconnecting the circulation pipes. Install the new filter inside the pump container and then into the tank. Refit the floor cover and tighten the screws. Reinstall the rear seat cushions. Start and test the vehicle.
