First, detach the aluminium trim on the side edges of the centre console. Pull upwards on the gear lever knob and remove it along with the leather gaiter.

At this point, you can detach the centre console trim by disconnecting the two connectors at the rear and one at the front. Place the centre console trim on a workbench, drill a hole in the centre of the cup holder area to pass the power cable for the lighting disc that needs to be positioned at the bottom of the cup holders.

Make the electrical connection as per the attached diagram (connect the red wire to the blue wire of the larger connector and the black wire to the other black near the yellow wire). Finally, reassemble everything and check the operation of the newly installed LEDs.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
