Removing the Starter Motor on Hyundai Matrix

Is the starter motor faulty? Here’s how to remove it from the vehicle. Open and lift the front bonnet, disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the starter motor terminals using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure, then undo the securing bolts of the starter motor with a socket spanner and remove it from the engine bay. Fit the new starter motor by connecting the power cables and securing it with the associated bolts. Reconnect the power terminals and close the front bonnet.
