How to Remove Car Radio from Hyundai Elantra

Model: Hyundai Elantra XD, MK 3 - Years 2000-2006
Part: Car stereo

Replace the car radio that no longer works. Follow this guide to remove it. Remove the trim around the stereo using a plastic lever (where the air vents are located) and detach it from the centre console. Unscrew the securing screws. Once the stereo is free, use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located on its sides. Pull the stereo out by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). To reassemble, reverse the disassembly steps. Turn on the car radio and check if it works.
