Removing the Auxiliary Belt on a Hyundai i20

Let's look at removing the auxiliary belt on a Hyundai i20. Remove the alternator belt. Lift the bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the belt cover. Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off the alternator and pulley. Fit the new belt in the engine bay: use a spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the belt has the correct tension (as previously fitted). Check the tensioner and the belt itself. Close the front bonnet after replacement.
