Disassemble Ix35 Remote Key

Model: Hyundai ix35 MK 1 - Years 2009-2015

To disassemble the ignition key remote, start by removing the metal key inside. Take your remote and slide out the metal key. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves of the key (in the area where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then use a small screwdriver to extract the worn battery. Take a new battery of the same size and voltage. After installing the new battery, insert the metal key back into the remote.
