Disassembling the remote key for the Ix35? Take apart the key and replace the battery or other functioning parts. Take your remote and press the release button of the metal key. Once the metal key is out, use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves of the key (in the space where the metal key fits). Pry until the cover opens, then extract the worn battery with a small screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Replace the battery or separate the cover from the key and replace it.
