Replacing Front Suspension on Tucson

Let's look at removing the shock absorbers on a Hyundai Tucson. Lift the car and remove the wheel to access the shock absorber. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the mounting bolts of the shock absorber at the wheel hub (disconnect the brake line with a screwdriver): unscrew the bolts on the side. Unscrew the mounting screws of the shock absorber from inside the engine compartment. Slide the shock absorber out of its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation. Install the new shock absorber on the vehicle in reverse order. Refit the wheel after the shock absorber installation.
