Let's see the disassembly of the alternator on Hyundai Santa Fe. We raise the bonnet, secure, locate the power supply battery and disconnect the clamps. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, unscrew the pins with a socket wrench, being careful not to damage the cable protections, unscrew all the alternator locking pins. We remove the alternator from inside the engine compartment: we disconnect the operating belt. Now we take the new replacement part and insert it into the suitable housing, screw in the locking pins, then, tighten the side pins of the alternator. We check the right voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery once the electrical terminals have been mounted.
