Removing the Alternator from Hyundai Santa Fe

Let's look at removing the alternator from the Hyundai Santa Fe. Lift the bonnet, secure it, locate the power battery, and disconnect the terminals. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, unscrew the bolts with a socket, being careful not to damage the cable protections, and unscrew all the securing bolts of the alternator. Remove the alternator from the engine bay: disconnect the drive belt. Now take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery once the electrical terminals are reconnected.
