Replacement of the Cabin Air Filter

This tutorial explains how to remove and replace the cabin air filter of a Hyundai Santa Fe. It is located inside the glove compartment on the passenger side, so first, you need to remove the glove box door. Using a screwdriver and a 10 mm Allen key, unscrew the bolts and screws that secure it. With the tip of a flat screwdriver, also remove the side panel of the glove box. Locate and unscrew the two bolts inside the glove compartment and detach the hinges of the door. You will now have visibility and access to the filter compartment. Manually unclip the two side clips securing the cover and disconnect the electrical connection located behind it. Now, by pressing (with your index finger and thumb) on both sides of the tabs on the filter, you can extract the filter for replacement.
