How to Change the Battery on a Hyundai Tucson

To change the battery on a Hyundai Tucson, start by removing the clips that hold the air tube in place, then remove the air tube. Unscrew the battery terminals with a 10 mm spanner, unscrew the bolt that holds the side cover of the battery with a 12 mm spanner, remove the negative terminal from the battery first, then the positive terminal. Remove the side cover of the battery and finally take out the battery itself. Insert the new battery, reattach the battery terminals, replace the side cover of the battery by screwing the bolt back in with a 12 mm spanner, reattach the battery terminals with a 10 mm spanner, and finally replace the air tube and reattach the clips. Finally, test the new battery by starting the car.
