Whenever you change the engine oil and filter on your vehicle, you must reset the service light that has illuminated on the instrument cluster. The following description outlines the procedure to follow. First, access the cabin, sit in the driver's seat, and turn on the ignition. Locate the Trip button on the right side of the steering wheel and press it multiple times to scroll through the onboard computer menu until you select the service option. Press the reset button, also located on the right side of the steering wheel controls, and hold it down until the service indicator starts to flash and updates.
