How to Replace the Fuel Pump on the Hyundai XCent

This guide shows how to replace the fuel pump on the Hyundai XCent Mk1. First, lift the rear seat cushion to access the fuel pump inspection cover. Remove the bolts securing the cover and take it off. Disconnect the electrical connector and the fuel supply hoses. Clean the area of debris and remove the bolts securing the fuel pump. Pull out the pump assembly and let any trapped fuel drain. Install the new replacement part and secure everything in place. Start the vehicle a few times to fully fill the pump.
