Air Conditioning Gas Recharge

If the air coming from the vents is not sufficiently cool when the air conditioning is activated, there may not be enough gas in the system for the compressor to properly perform the refrigeration cycle. Since the air conditioning system is a closed circuit, if gas is missing, it is likely that there is a leak in the system, which should be checked by performing a vacuum with the appropriate equipment; however, there are gas cans available on the market that allow for DIY recharging: start the engine and turn on the air conditioning, connect the can to the corresponding valve and allow the gas to enter. Then check that the air coming from the vents is cooling.
