How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Hyundai Tucson

To replace the fuel pump, loosen the screws located at the front of the rear seat on the driver's side. Once these screws are loosened, lift the seat to access the components underneath.

Here you will find the pump cover, which needs to be removed for access. By disconnecting all connectors and unscrewing the fastening screws, you can pull the pump out of its housing and replace it with a new part.

After the replacement, reassemble all the components that were removed.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
