In case of breakage of a piece of bumper (or in any case of any plastic element) it is possible to resort to decidedly innovative repair techniques which involve the use of particular glues capable of replicating a real weld. To fix the flap connecting the bumper to the mudguard, proceed as follows: 1) Carefully clean the flaps to be welded; 2) Sand with coarse sandpaper to improve retention; 3) Align the flaps and fix them in two three points by melting the plastic with a soldering iron; 4) Apply reinforcement mesh; 5) Cover the external part of the joint with high temperature tape to prevent the melting plastic from escaping; 6) Weld the two edges by melting the filler rod with a hot air welder; 7) Remove the tape and excess glue with a cutter.
