Instructions for Removing the Front Bumper

Model: Hyundai Sonata - Years 2004-2014

Removing the front bumper is very simple and does not require disassembling any other components: it is essentially a cover, almost like a fairing, overlaid on the underlying impact bar. Start by unscrewing the screw that secures the edge of the bumper to the wing, then remove the one at the lower edge. Take out the screws along the lower edge of the bumper and the clips that secure the upper trim to the slam panel (first unscrew the central expansion screw before removing the clip). Finally, there are a couple more pins to unscrew, and the bumper can be removed.
