Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: How to change the LPG filters on a BRC system on a Hyundai I10.

How to replace the LPG filters on a BRC system installed on a Hyundai I10. This involves changing both the liquid phase filter and the gas phase filter. First, we need to remove the plug from the solenoid valve, loosen the fitting. Naturally, some gas will escape, the remaining gas in the pipe. Open the solenoid valve with a 17mm wrench. Inside, there is the filter, and we replace it. Usually, we replace it after 15,000 km. Pay attention to the gaskets (there are 3). You can find the two complete filter sets with gaskets on Amazon for 17.94 euros (brand: LPG Megastore). Clean it well and put the filter back in its place. Now you can put the solenoid valve back in place following the reverse instructions. Now let's remove the other filter: there is a screw to unscrew, move a tube, or - even better - remove it completely. Open it. Here too, we replace the filter and o-ring, after cleaning the seat. Put it back in its place and put everything back in place. Tighten the fittings well. Job done.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
