First, remove the plastic covers around the steering column, which are held in place with three cross-head screws (sometimes they are Torx screws). Remove the two bolts under the plastics using a 12 mm socket and lower the steering shaft to pull off the upper plastic cover.

Remove the two bolts at the top with a 6 mm hex key. These secure the ignition switch. Disconnect the plug and the antenna.

Now you can extract the ignition block as a whole and possibly free the cylinder by turning the key and pressing with a screwdriver or a pointed object. To reassemble, simply reverse the procedure.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
