How to Replace the Ignition Switch on a Hyundai Atos?

Model: Hyundai Atos MK 2 - Years 2011-2022

First, remove the plastic covers around the steering column, which are held in place with three cross-head screws (sometimes they are Torx screws). Remove the two bolts under the plastics using a 12 mm socket and lower the steering shaft to pull off the upper plastic cover. Remove the two bolts at the top with a 6 mm hex key. These secure the ignition switch. Disconnect the plug and the antenna. Now you can extract the ignition block as a whole and possibly free the cylinder by turning the key and pressing with a screwdriver or a pointed object. To reassemble, simply reverse the procedure.
