In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the ignition cylinder on a Hyundai Elantra, a very simple and quick operation. Before doing this, open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for safety.

Start by unscrewing the screws located beneath the steering column, then remove the cover using a flat tool. Next, remove the outer ring of the cylinder, insert the key, and turn it to the "ACC" position.

Now, unlock the retaining clip accessible from the lower hole, extract the cylinder, and fit the replacement.
