How to Replace the Front Brake Pads

Model: Hyundai Getz MK 1 - Years 2002-2011

First, place the car on a ramp and lift it to a comfortable working height. Remove the front wheel corresponding to the pads to be replaced. Using the appropriate spanner, open the brake caliper cover by unscrewing the lower bolt. After moving the brake pads by levering with a screwdriver, lift the caliper cover and extract the two pads positioned on either side of the disc. Now insert the new pads into position and refit the caliper cover. Refit the wheel and lower the car using the ramp. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a Hyundai Getz.
