The steps to replace the rear light bulb on a Hyundai i40 are straightforward and can be done independently. The first step is to open the boot.

The second step is to remove the clips covering the screws to access them. The third step is to remove the gasket to gain access to the inside of the light unit.

The fourth step is to disconnect the connector from the bulb to remove the light unit. The fifth step is to remove the old bulb and insert a new one. The sixth step is to reconnect the connector and reinsert the light unit.

Finally, replace the gasket and secure the light unit.
