Hyundai Tucson - Video tutorial

Model: Hyundai Tucson NX4, MK 4 - Years 2022-2024
Part: Bodywork
Operation: How to mount the side steps on the Hyundai Tucson

In this video, we see how to install the side steps on the Hyundai Tucson. We remind you that this accessory does not require any approval AS LONG AS it does not protrude from the silhouette or widen the vehicle's track. Our YouTube channel recommends purchasing them on Amazon Canada, not shippable to Europe. We found a similar item on eBay, moreover at a lower price: it is the code 115693762420, priced at 341.49 euros + 39.50 for shipping. There are already holes under the car prepared for installation, so it will be very easy to attach the bolts provided with the steps. Only the lining under the body needs to be removed, as shown in the video; near the rear wheel, there is a Philips screw that needs to be removed, inside the wheel arch, then the rest is all pressure-fit. Before putting all that hardware into the holes, the YouTuber recommends spraying them with rust-preventive solution to prevent rust formation. Then, once the nuts are inserted, simply place the bolts through the side step and tighten them. Then there are nice covers to hide them and make the job look clean.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
