Adjusting the handbrake is not as difficult as it seems; you just need the right guide to access the handbrake cable. This is the guide you need. Remove the rear part of the centre armrest using a flathead screwdriver to lever it off. Remove the screws securing the panel that covers the inside of the armrest. Once you have released the handbrake, you will have access to the adjustment butterfly for the handbrake cable, allowing you to set your preferred adjustment for your vehicle.
