Cleaning and Lubricating the Brakes on a Hyundai Kona EV

In this video, learn how to maintain the brakes on a Hyundai Kona EV. Start by removing the wheel, then detach the caliper by unscrewing the two bolts holding it in place. Place the caliper where the flexible hoses won't be damaged. Next, remove the two metal clips and the worn brake pads along with the two metal supports. Clean these parts with an abrasive disc, ensuring to clean the entire caliper and base using the same method. Apply some copper grease, even on the pads (which are not being replaced, only cleaned). Refit the metal clips and then the calipers, tightening them with their bolts. Replace the wheel and repeat the process on the other side.
