In this video we see how to replace the battery of the Hyundai I30 key. To perform this procedure, we will need a new CR 2032 battery, a small flathead screwdriver, and a larger one. To replace the battery, we must first press the switch on the back of the key and remove the emergency key. Once this is done, with the help of the larger flathead screwdriver, lever the smaller hole open so that the key can be opened. Once opened, use the smaller flathead screwdriver to lift the old battery, at this point insert the new battery and then close the key by pressing with your fingers, and reinsert the emergency key into its housing.
