Operation: How to fix the headlight

Over time the lighthouse can deteriorate, also due to vibrations or shocks. Some components of the engine compartment must be removed to access the headlight housings. The snap-on socket in the back of the housing allows you to replace the bulb without removing the entire headlight assembly. Locate the light socket on the back of the upper case, turn the headlight cap counterclockwise to release it from the case. Rotate the bulb holder assembly counterclockwise to disengage it from the box and extract it, by doing so you can pull the old bulb and insert the new one.

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
