With the vehicle off, pull the handbrake switch; then turn on the instrument panel, press the brake pedal, pull the handbrake switch, release the brake pedal, and turn off the ignition, while keeping the handbrake button activated.

Wait for the Jaguar logo to reappear on the display: release the handbrake button; ensure the vehicle is in neutral and the handbrake icon no longer appears on the vehicle's dashboard. The rear brakes are now disabled, and you can carry out the necessary operations.
