Replacing Front Brake Pads

Model: Jaguar Xe MK 1 - Years 2015-2024

Lift the vehicle on suitable car stands and remove the front wheel. Leverage between the disc and the caliper to slightly retract the caliper piston, facilitating removal. Then, unscrew the caliper mounting bolts to remove it from its position and extract the old pads. Clean the pad seating on the respective support and apply copper grease to the back of the pads and the caliper mounting bolts. Insert the new pads, retract the caliper piston using a mole grip or a C-clamp, and install it in its position, tightening the respective mounting bolts.
