Replacing the Key Fob Battery on Jaguar X Type

Let's look at how to remove the battery from the key fob on a Jaguar X Type. Take your remote and use a screwdriver to pry between the two halves until they separate from the cover: separate the plastics until you find the battery. Remove the worn-out battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cap on the key fob cover until you hear it click into place.
