Today, we will see how to open the fuel cap of a Jaguar S-Type from 1999 to 2008 in simple steps when the lock or opening mechanism does not work. To refuel, first, open the boot and remove the inner trim on the right; this will give you access to the back of the fuel cap and allow you to pull the black lever to open the fuel flap, as shown in the video.

Now unscrew the fuel cap and refuel; afterwards, replace the opening mechanism with the new one!
