The replacement of the timing belt of the Jaguar XF is carried out by opening the bonnet, so that you can have access to the components located inside the engine compartment: in the front part of the engine block it will be possible to identify the belt, which must be removed from its housing by loosening the central bolt of the tensioner pulley. At this point, the tension of the belt itself will reduce and it can be removed, taking care not to phase the crankshaft and camshaft. In this way it will be possible to insert the new belt, insert the tensioner roller and check that everything works correctly.
