To replace the timing belt on the Jaguar XF, open the bonnet to access the components located in the engine bay: at the front of the engine block, you will find the belt, which must be removed from its housing by loosening the central bolt of the tensioner pulley. At this point, the tension of the belt will be reduced, allowing it to be extracted, taking care not to misalign the crankshaft and camshaft. This way, you can fit the new belt, install the tensioner pulley, and check that everything functions correctly.
