How do you change the battery in the key fob of a Jeep Cherokee? Follow this detailed video to find out. Take your key fob and slide the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the button frame. Once the frame is removed, pry until the buttons separate from the cover. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver, take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key fob until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key back into the fob. Check that the key fob is working correctly.
