Deactivation of the passenger side airbag of the Jeep Renegade

Model: Jeep Renegade 520, MK 1, BU - Years 2014-2026

If a child seat weighing up to nine kilograms is installed in the passenger seat of the Jeep Renegade, facing the opposite direction of travel, the airbag must be deactivated. To do this, sit in the driver's seat, turn on the instrumentation, use the arrow buttons on the left side of the steering wheel to scroll through the menu on the central display until you find the "settings" option, confirm with "ok". In the next menu, select "safety", always confirming with "ok", in the next screen confirm "passenger airbag", select "off" and confirm. The light below the Hazard button will confirm the deactivation.
