How do you reset the onboard computer of a Jeep?

In order to reset the onboard computer of Jeep vehicles, you need to connect a diagnostic tool to the OBD port of the vehicle: this port can be found on the dashboard immediately below the steering column. Once the device is connected, you can select the specific car model and version: this will allow you to follow the instructions that appear on the screen to reset the settings of the onboard computer. Once the operation is complete, you can disconnect the scanner and verify that everything has been reset.
