How to unlock the automatic transmission of the Jeep Renegade? We see it in this video. What we see is a 2016 car, which has been stuck in a parking lot without keys, so we need to unlock it somehow. With a screwdriver, we pry under the frame that is around the shift boot; we lift the boot and frame, and then we can see that on the right side of the lever, we find a small white part, which is the transmission solenoid. We enter with the tip of the screwdriver and move it gently forward. We will see a black part that moves: it is the collar of the shift button that descends; this way the gear comes out.
