How to Replace the Air Filter on a Jeep Compass

Let’s see how to remove the air filter on a Jeep Compass: open the car door, pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the soundproofing panel (if present), using a screwdriver unscrew the air intake pipe (disconnect the engine air intake pipe and the metal clamp pin). Unscrew the screws of the filter box, extract the worn air filter and insert a new one ensuring it fits snugly around the walls. Finally, reassemble the air box cover and all other parts. Close the bonnet at the end.
