Today we will reset the service light, related to the engine oil change and maintenance, of the 2014 Jeep Patriot model. We turn on the instrument panel and press the brake pedal 3 times in 10 seconds. Once the procedure is complete, we restart the instrument panel. The reset of the light must be done after completing the car maintenance and oil change; for this vehicle, about 2.4 liters of oil are needed for the change. If the service light is not reset, it will be necessary to go to an authorized workshop to perform a computerized diagnosis via the OBD port.
