Electric Lift Tailgate Repair for Jeep Compass

This SUV, like many others, is equipped with an electric lift mechanism for the boot: if pressing the button does not raise it, the first thing to check is the integrity of the corresponding fuse; the fuse is located in the engine compartment, on the driver's side, just behind the left front headlamp, or behind the battery, practically in front of the shock absorber dome; once you remove the cover of the fuse box, the legend inside shows the correspondence of the fuses: the one for the tailgate is a 30 amp fuse located under the two grey relay sockets.
