How to Locate Fuses in a Jeep Grand Cherokee

To locate the fuses in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, turn off the engine and all electrical devices. The vehicle has two main fuse panels. The cabin fuse box is located on the passenger side of the dashboard, behind a side panel accessible by opening the front door. Remove the cover to access the fuses dedicated to various internal services. In the engine compartment, there is the Power Distribution Center, a box that contains high-power fuses and relays located near the battery. Remove the cover to access it. To identify the relevant fuse, refer to the diagram on the cover of the boxes or in the vehicle manual, which specifies the position, amperage, and protected circuit. If replacing, use a fuse of the same rating as the original.
