How to Perform a Factory Reset of the System in a Jeep Grand Cherokee

To perform a factory reset of the Uconnect multimedia system in a fourth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, turn on the ignition and the central display without necessarily starting the engine. On the touchscreen, select Apps and open the Settings section. Scroll through the list of options until you find the entry related to reset, generally indicated as Reset or Restore Settings. Then select Restore Settings to Default to revert the system settings to factory values. When the confirmation request appears on the screen, choose Yes and wait for the operation to complete without turning off the ignition. The system may restart automatically. Once completed, you will need to reconfigure any personal preferences that may have been erased, such as audio settings, Bluetooth devices, and other customisations.
