Replacing the Cabin Air Filter on a Jeep Compass

Replacing the cabin air filter is a maintenance task that should not be overlooked, as an efficient filter will prevent bad odours inside the cabin and the proliferation of bacteria. On this model, the filter is located on the passenger side, just behind the glove compartment. To access and replace it, open the door, press on the sides to fully tilt it, and finally remove the protective cap of the filter. Extract the old filter, remove any remaining dirt, and insert the new one, orienting it according to the airflow direction. When replacing the filter, it is also advisable to sanitise the cabin with a suitable germicidal spray.
