Replacement of the cabin air filter of the Jeep Compass MK2

To prevent dirt from entering the ventilation system of the Jeep Compass, a filter has been installed on the external air intake that must be replaced every fifteen thousand kilometers. To proceed with the replacement, we open the front passenger door, remove the side panel of the dashboard, open the glove compartment, unscrew the three screws on the inner edge and remove the compartment. In the space that is freed up, we find the filter box cover mounted horizontally, open it and remove the old filter element and replace it with a new one. Close the cover, put back the compartment by securing it with the screws and put back the side panel.
